Sun Life Financial Inc. said Thursday it named Stephen C. Peacher its chief investment officer, effective Oct. 13. Peacher was most recently managing director at Columbia Management, where he was responsible for investment strategy, development and performance for the firm’s large fixed income and cash portfolios.
